About Ashley

Meet Ashley S. Berg, LCSW and learn how she approaches trauma-focused therapy.

You should know what we are doing in therapy, and why.

I’m Ashley S. Berg, LCSW, founder of Trauma CCA. I work with adults who often have a great deal of insight but still find themselves pulled into reactions, relationship patterns, or physical stress responses that are hard to interrupt in the moment.

What it is like to work with me

My style is direct, collaborative, and engaged. I ask questions, offer context, point out patterns, and explain why I am suggesting a particular intervention. If something does not fit, I want to know.

Pace and consent are part of good clinical work. You do not have to perform therapy correctly.

Clinical approach

My work is trauma-focused and integrative. Depending on what we are treating, I may use EMDR, relational and restorative approaches, parts-informed work, somatic support, and practical CBT, DBT, or mindfulness-based skills.

I do not organize treatment around a favorite modality. The method should serve the problem.

Faith or spirituality can be included when it matters to you. It is never assumed or required.
